Program cost and payment terms

The Cedars has a non-refundable processing fee which covers the cost of assessment and placement.
The processing fee is $120 (102 USD*)

The per diem treatment fee is $300 (255 USD*).

Cedars staff work closely with families and service
providers to arrange payment for treatment services.

Fees are payable on the date(s) specified in the payment option selected. The initial fee payment is due on admission and is calculated, at the daily rate, for the number of treatment days from admission date to the first payment date in the chosen option.

Health Insurance

Young people covered under parental health insurance pay in full and seek reimbursement from the insurance carrier. Program staff work with clients to help facilitate payment of insurance coverage benefits.

All young women who reside outside of Canada must carry health insurance and provide the name of their health insurance company upon entry to The Cedars.

Day Program Option

The Cedars offers a day program for young women who need support while waiting for admission to residential treatment or want additional guidance and assistance following discharge from a live-in program.  Day program clients reside with their parent/guardian or foster family or live independently in the community and participate in a structured day program that includes individual and group counselling, fitness, recreational activities and life skills education.  An individual assessment determines a young woman’s ability to benefit from participation in a day program.

The day program per diem is $150 ($127 USD).
