Who
Are We?
The Cedars is a residential
addiction treatment program based in North Burnaby, British
Columbia, Canada. It provides a
safe environment for adolescent women, between the ages of 14 and
18, who suffer from alcohol and drug abuse.
Adolescent women are often faced with a number
of issues related to addiction, such as depression, eating
disorders, violence and physical, emotional and sexual abuse. We
provide a high level of support and specialized care,
including individual treatment plans.
At The Cedars, young
women suffering from addictions can focus on recovery
without the interference often present in their daily environment.
Referrals to The Cedars can be made by parents or
other family members, by physicians, therapists, substance abuse
counsellors, lawyers, probation officers, employers, and of course,
young adolescent women seeking help.
